Project Bazia is a non-profit organization based in the West End. Bazia Anthony started this organization to provide education about and aid to people from Sudan.
Project Bazia was recently surprised by an anonymous donation of a Honda Odyssey van. The van is put to good use driving incarcerated youth, who are close to release from the Long Creek Youth Development Center, to work and other opportunities.
Project Bazia also visits youth in the correctional facility to offer them hope, encouragement, and friendship, when they are released. In addition, Project Bazia holds discussion groups at Portland High School to help students develop their dreams and life plans.
