On Saturday, February 28th, a peeping tom was reported on Spruce Street.
The report was made via social media application Nextdoor, a program that connects neighbors through email and a smart phone app.
The neighborhood resident reported that at 10:30 p.m. a man in a dark hooded sweatshirt threw a snowball at at one of her windows.
The noise caught the attention of her and her friends (who were women).
She reported, “At first I thought he might have been a friendly neighbor finally helping out with some shoveling (what was I thinking?), but his jerking non-shoveling hand movement was clearly doing something less helpful and more unsettling.”
The resident called the police, but they were unable to locate the suspect.
She warned, “Time to keep the blinds closed, I guess.”
