Saturday, August 23, 2025 | 10am – 5pm
This summer over a hundred fine craft artists will open up shop in the heart of Portland’s Art District. It’s the 10th Annual Portland Fine Craft Show taking place on Saturday, August 23rd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Find the show in the private parking area at 120 Free Street (near the art museum). The West End News is proud to help publishe and distribrute the show guide with exhibitor map.

This free, single day, outdoor event is a tradition in Maine’s vibrant art scene. Each year, Shop Maine Craft brings together artists and appreciative craft enthusiasts from across the region. And this year marks a milestone for the show – its tenth anniversary.
The show will feature the work of over 100 juried fine craft artists from Maine and the greater Northeast. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore and purchase one of a kind pieces. Featuring a wide array of media including basketry, ceramics, decorative and wearable fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, printmaking, stone, and wood.
“The Portland Fine Craft Show has grown over the past decade into one of the most anticipated craft events in the region,” said Simonne Feeney, Show Director. “It’s a true celebration of the skill, creativity and dedication of craft artists, and a chance for the public to connect directly with those behind the work.”
Each year, thousands of visitors attend the show. Being free and open to the public fosters awareness and appreciation for craft.
The Portland Fine Craft Show is presented by Shop Maine Craft, the retail arm of the statewide nonprofit Maine Crafts Association. Together, the organizations partner to sustain and celebrate craft as a cornerstone of Maine’s culture and economy.
