The Maine DOT will be excavating in the intersection of High Street at Spring Street until September 1st. East bound traffic on Spring Street is being detoured onto Park Street. Expect slow moving traffic between the hours of 9 AM to 7 PM. Seek alternate routes.
The improvements on Spring are part of a joint MDOT and City project involving new streetscape elements, including pedestrain safety measures, landscaping, the removal of the median, and paving upgrades.
Night work is scheduled for August 24th, with rain and or other unexpected delays scheduled for the 25th and 26th of August.
