Aging in Place Presentation for May
Free & Cheap Exercise & Fitness Options for Aging Adults (that’s all of us!)
May 1 from 6-7:30 p.m. – Free!
Learn about activities that are possible for anyone regardless of their budget. Also, these are exercises that are accessible or adaptable for most people. Since good health encompasses more than just the physical body, we’ll address some of the emotional and social aspects of healthy living as well.
This presentation includes Laughter Yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi Chih and Everyday Exercises from the National Institute on Aging. Try a few moves! And get handouts and schedules detailing the Portland Recreation Department’s 62+ offerings and other opportunities. All right here in the West End neighborhood!
We’re looking forward to an informative and engaging evening. And we hope you’ll join us!
Meetings are held upstairs at the Reiche Community Room (166 Brackett Street). Please use the Clark Street entrance to the Reiche Community Center. Go through the doors on the left, then take the stairs or elevator to the second floor foyer that opens into the Community Room. Looking forward to seeing you there! Any questions, please email us at WECANAIP@gmail.com.
