A new Public Policy Polling survey, commissioned by the Portland Green Independent Committee, finds that a majority of Portland voters endorse raising the city’s minimum wage to $15 per hour.
The Portland Greens are collecting signatures to put the $15 minimum wage on the ballot for November.
The poll found majority support for the $15 minimum wage across a wide range of demographic groups, including women, young voters, seniors, and middle-class voters.

PPP surveyed 507 Portland voters from April 19th to 21st. The margin of error is +/-4.3%. This poll was conducted by automated telephone interviews.
