Shots Fired In The West End
Portland Police responded to a report of shots fired on April 28th, 2024, at 6:41 p.m. on Tate Street. Evidence of a firearm being discharged several times in the area was discovered. Two persons of interest were questioned, but no arrests have been made at this time. The Special Reaction Team (SRT) was activated and a search warrant was served on a residence as a part of the investigation.
We are asking residents in the area to please check to see if their cars or homes have been struck by gunfire.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
