Peloton Labs owner Liz Trice is hosting an Open House and Charette for Bramhall Square at Peloton Labs from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2nd.
Liz has been running Peloton Labs for 4 years, and she has seen some good development come down Congress Street on both sides. Liz thinks Bramhall Square is nowhere near as vibrant as it could be.
There are currently 7 unused storefronts around the square. Liz believes that getting local residents interested in the square as a neighborhood center and bringing neighbors together to envision a future for the Bramhall Square is the answer to revitalizing this downtown space.
Liz will be managing the former Mr. Muffin building, 3 Deering Avenue, and is involved with getting new businesses into that site. She considers this an opportunity to think about how Bramhall Square can best serve the West End, Parkside, St. John’s Valley and Maine Medical Center, as well as the 80+ people who currently work at Peloton Labs.
5:30-6:30pm Open House
Tour PelotonLabs and meet Parkside and West End neighbors.
6:30-8:30pm Bramhall Square Community Design Charette
What’s your vision for Bramhall Square? A charette is a community design workshop where all can share input and make personal marks on the future of Bramhall Square. There will be a process for people to share what types of activities, businesses and space changes would enhance the space.
You can join the discussion on the Friends of Bramhall Square Facebook page and RSVP to the event online at PelotonLabs.com.
