As I am away on a Pilgrimage through southern France’s Mary Magdalene and Cathar sites, this forecast will be shorter than usual.
The Cathars were wiped out in genocide by the Inquuisition in the 13th Century as they posed a threat to the authority of the Catholic Church.
As we enter October 2015, we are still in the waning days of the Eclipse Season.
Both Eclipses have now passed, but the Eclipse Season will continue until close to the end of October. The ramifications will continue for a long time afterward as our world, its paradigm, our collective consciousness, and our personal lives are being transformed in big ways.
As October begins, just 3 days after the Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries, we still have Mercury Retrograde.
Mercury will stay Retrograde until October 9th, so it is best to wait to do important activities or make important decisions till after that date.
Mercury has been Retrograde since September 17th, and it helped to confuse matters during the Total Lunar Eclipse New Moon in Aries on September 27th – 28th.
Three days after Mercury goes Direct, there is a New Moon in Libra on October 12th.
Those two events will likely give us a sigh of relief even if circumstances are not totally back in balance yet.
The New Moon in Libra will be at 8:06 PM EDT on the 12th.
Libra is a sign of the scales; of justice and fairness, of balance and symmetry.
Expect voices of peace and moderation to be stronger now. Libra is a sign of artistry, loveliness, relationship and peace. Its weaknesses can surface as being too civil, pretentious, accommodating, and self effacing.
On the 17th Mars make conjunction with Jupiter in Virgo, putting more active emphasis on finding order, making common sense, and being more discerning. It can also make one more obsessive and unduly critical.
The Sun moves into Scorpio on October 23rd, and there is a “darkening” that begins then. Previously found peace, pleasantness, and civility may be threatened- starting now.
During Scorpio month we move more into our natural instincts, which on the good side means more feelings of passion, sexuality, insightful thinking, soulfulness, and understanding of those who suffer.
On a more negative side it can bring our more base instincts like rage, jealousy, envy, spite, revenge, etc. to the surface.
What has been suppressed can now be felt and expressed again, which can bring about fights with others and perhaps a clearing of the air as a result.
Scorpio is a sign of transformation, being ruled by Pluto; and as such things can feel quite dark at times, followed by a renewal and kind of rebirth.
There is a Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus on October 27th at 8:05 AM EDT. This lunation can bring about stubborn tugs of war. And it also can bring a need for peace and calm versus a rising up of intense emotions that threaten that calm.
Next month I will bring a more full forecast again and a study of what the recent Eclipse Season brought to our personal lives and especially to our world through global events.
