AUGUSTA – Governor Paul LePage has proclaimed the third Saturday
of August as Maine Day. This year, August 16th will be a day to
celebrate the State of Maine by encouraging people within and outside the
State to try Maine-made food and beverage, and recognize the Pine Tree
State as a great place to live, work, and visit.
A proclamation signing will be held at the Office of the Governor
on Monday, August 11th.
