Portland police found the body Robert Koch, 52, in the Presumpscot River on Tuesday, August 19th, just after 1PM. Mr. Koch left his residence at 723 Riverside Street on August 15th at about 8:30PM and mentioned going to the Trolley Park at Forest Avenue and Riverside Street. The area of the Trolley Park was searched by officers and family, but Mr. Koch’s body was not located until four days after his disappearance.
Mr. Koch suffered from medical conditions that may have altered his mental state. His death does not appear to be suspicious at this point, according to police.
