On Thursday, December 11th, the METRO Toy Bus will stop at St. Brigid Catholic School, located on 695 Stevens Avenue, at 10 a.m. Community members are asked to drop off new, unwrapped toys, or books to St. Brigid where the items will be stuffed onto the bus and delivered to boys and girls throughout the area.
The METRO Toy Bus is part of WGME 13’s Joy of Sharing campaign which helps the Salvation Army deliver thousands of toys to children in Maine. Interested parties who would like to contribute but can’t make the Stuff the Bus event can drop off a contribution at the WGME 13 lobby on 81 Northport Drive in North Deering or at any Bank of America branch during regular business hours. The Joy of Sharing campaign runs through December 18th.
